I managed to replace the vanilla frag grenade with my own models and textures, but unfortunately the game freaks out and crashes whenever I try to actually throw it. I suspect this is something to do with a discrepancy in the structure of the .nif files (my model uses the standard Fallout 4 .nif string setup) OR the multiplayer engine can't handle the introduction of a new mesh in place of one everybody else on the server is using. Also, the way Fallout 76 handles textures is different from previous games, using four main maps instead of the usual three, so the lighting is a bit off when using maps calibrated for Fallout 4. If anyone knows exactly what is going on here, let me know so I can get this thing into a working state.
