For anyone STILL confused as of 01JAN24 (today)...installation simplified listed below (transparently, it also took me a minute to understand and get this figured out):
| Manually download the file to wherever you place your mods. | Hit Win (windows key) + R and type appdata into the box and hit enter. | Once inside, click on the folder marked Local. | Scroll down until you find the folder marked for Fallout Shelter. | Drag and drop the file you just downloaded here (will be two separate files, yes drag and drop both) into that folder (you may have to overwrite files...click yes). | Open your FalloutShelter.exe | Load the Vault numbered 111. | Boom...done and enjoy.
NOTE: As already described by the mod author this save file is a NEW game. This will not work in conjunction with an existing save file (semi built Vault).
I personally do not use WinRar or 7zip, so if you're having trouble between the point of downloading the mod and getting it dropped into your Fallout Shelter folder it may be an issue with those programs themselves or simple user error. I would recommend watching a tutorial video on whichever program you use. Also, heed the advice presented here already by the mod author.
Lastly, huge shoutout to FinnishPerson for making this! Much love and appreciation!
The mod doesn't load into the game, even after following all the processes, I am on windows. The load data is not there in game, even if it is in the file. No loads exist in my game either so It has the room to be there
Simple Drag&Drop, not at all difficult and works like a charm! I'm not sure how some of the other folks were having so much trouble, but I most certainly did not. Thanks a ton!!
Would you be able to make one of these for save 1 so I can try different building techniques and compare them? also if you can please make the number 222
For those who dropping this into their Fallout Shelter folder didn't work for, drop it into AppData - Local - FalloutShelter and let it override your save game. I wouldn't work for me until I did this! (Steam Vr.)
Thank you TeroPitkamela <3 The huge amounts of loot boxes satisfied my ADHD brain.
Reading the comments this mod seems as if this is working for others but when I download it, It downloads as a rar which I have winrar on my pc but when trying to unpack or un zip the file it says format is unknown or damaged. I get the same message when trying to open it as well.
