About this mod

Giants Software Ported and Released the Estancia Lapacho map from Farming Simulator 17 for Farming Simulator 19 on Release Day. However the map has issues with some trees Giants use as decoration being placed in the ground or under the terrain which breaks equipment and AI workers. This fixes those issues by removing the offending trees.

Update: 23/05/2019 I have uploaded a new version of mod, which uses the 1.0.3.0 Version released by Giants which supports the sale of Woodchip Bales from their Anderson DLC as the base. Once again I have removed the fake trees and adjusted some other issues that they have refused to fix. I've also taken a few Author Creative Liberties to adjust a few other things I did not like about the map. I have adjusted the capacity of the BGA and it's processing speed for example. I've also adjusted the unloading and loading triggers at the BGA to make them a little bit easier for people to use, and possibly add support for players who want to make automated routes with mods like Courseplay or Autodrive. There are some other little tweaks and adjustments to other things as well. I do consider this to be a much improved version of the map that will be more fun for players.

When Farming Simulator 19 was released by Giants, one of their first ModHub releases was a port/conversion of the Estancia Lapacho map from Farming Simulator 17. Many saw this as a much better map to play on then Ravenport & Felsbrunn due to the better field sizes, large farming area etc. However the map was not without issues. Many people quickly took to Giants forums to report bugs with some of the placed decorative objects on the map. Particular some of the trees that Giants had placed, which they deliberately sunk into or place below ground so only the top portion was visible to look like bushes or foliage in game. However unlike actual bushes or foliage which have no collision properties and can be removed by the player by ploughing the area or using the in game paint tool, these trees have collision and can't be removed by the player.

Worse still the map has a bigger issue where the in game Forestry Machinery and Equipment doesn't work with and is incompatible with the trees on this map, so you can't use those to remove these objects. This means large area of the map the player could use to create new fields or farm areas in can't be used because they can't remove these fake tree/bushes.

Giants have repeatedly closed reports submitted players on this subject and stated repeatedly they [Won't Fix] these bug reports and won't be updating the map anymore.

So I have edited the map myself, using the latest version released by Giants this week, which is Game Version 1.3 compatible, so has the Grass Painting Texture functionality working. However I have gone in and done what Giants should have done months ago and removed all the palmSmall_Bush and palmMed_Bush from the map which are the offending items. Now once you remove the other Palm Trees from the areas with the good old fashioned Chainsaw in game, you can use the areas of land to put new buildings, fields, animal pens etc whatever your heart desires. Also tools and equipment work near these areas in game now won't break and stop working. Also when using AI Workers near these areas they will now continue to work correctly and not get freaked out by the fake tree/bushes and leave huge areas unworked.

To install this mod, download the zip file, ensure it is named FS19_EstanciaLapacho.zip and place it in your Mod Folder. Let it overwite the existing Estancia Lapacho mod if you have it downloaded already from the in game ModHub. This mod should be save game compatible, however in some instances trees that may have previously been cut down by the player, may reappear when loading the save and need to be cut down and removed again. On new saves this is not an issue. Also when downloading and using this Mod, the in game ModHub will warn you on the Mods Menu and update is available for the map. DO NOT UPDATE, as it will just download the Giants Broken version of the Map and replace this better version.
