This is not just a simple "toggle" mod which I wish I knew how to make, keep in mind though I'm just learning how to mod FS. Anyways, you'll need to replace the files I've put in the .zip into your games main files. I'll include backups as an optional download unless you want to make your own.
As far as I could tell I've removed them all from the US map, Riverbend. If such things are on the other maps as I haven't played them enough to notice then let me know and I'll make mods doing the same for them.
I only have the game on Steam so I don't know the proper pathing for other launchers but copy and paste the files to this folder:
