You can walk with the map open and the map will have less opacity. You can activate the map with the usual M button (you have to click M again to close the map) and if you use the item from the inventory you will use the base map. The map works in screen transition (for example change map).
How to install the mod:
You need to extract the files and drag the www folder into the game folder
