I really wanted to be able to create some visual interest when decorating my farm and wished I could stop trees at a certain stage of growth to decorate with ( like in Animal Crossing: New Horizons ). So, in this mod, I've taken the sprites for the oak and pine trees and replaced some of the in-game crop signs with them. When you craft one of the trees and go to place it, you'll be able to 'rotate' it by pressing R, which cycles through it's growth stages. You can place spring trees in winter, fall trees in summer, have a farm of only pink trees... whatever you want!! Even when the game devs inevitably add the ability to plant trees in a future update, you'll still be able to use this mod to place the other tree sizes and out-of-season colours. The collision box is much smaller than a normal in-game tree also, so you can place them closer to other objects and of course keep in mind that you can't cut them down like a normal tree, just whack them with a pick axe like any other furniture to remove them and add them back into your inventory!

Anyway, there's a lot of yapping in this post and it took me way too long, but here it is!! This is my first Fields of Mistria mod, if you have any ideas of ways I could improve this mod ( or future ones ), or if you have any issues, please make sure to let me know in the comments, bug reports or my Discord messages.
- Spring Crop Signs - Cabbage, Carrot, Chickpea, Daffodil and Lilac signs are replaced with the spring tree variations.
- Summer Crop Signs - Basil, Catmint, Chili Pepper, Corn and Cosmos signs are replaced with the summer tree variations.
- Fall Crop Signs - Broccoli, Celosia, Chrysanthemum, Cranberry, Garlic, Heather, Moon Fruit, Onion, Pumpkin and Rice signs are replaced with the fall tree variations.
- Winter Crop Signs - Beet, Burdock Root, Cauliflower and Daikon Radish signs are replaced with the winter tree variations.
( PS - In the future, if an update is released that allows us to add custom furniture to the game without having to replace an existing item, I'll make sure to update this mod so it no longer needs to replace any of the crop signs ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧ )
- Placeable Fruit Trees - Same as this mod essentially, just with the different growth stages and seasonal colour variations of the fruit trees. I'll make sure to replace different crop signs so that you can use both this mod and that mod together.
[left] - Clutter and Decorations - Taking some in-game sprites and making them available as placeable decorations and furniture, primarily small clutter items and plants.
- Bushes and Shrubs - I've collected the sprites of bushes that are used around the map, it would be neat to be able to decorate with them too!
- TBD - I was thinking of taking some of the smaller crop/forage growth stages and making them placeable decorations, to make your farm look more cluttered and overgrown but in like, a good way lol.
( I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able to do any of these mods, so if anyone was thinking of starting them, that would be amazing too ᯓ★ )
Please install with the Mods of Mistria Installer.
- Download the latest release of MOMI here.
- Copy paste the Mods of Mistria.exe file to your Fields of Mistria steam folder. (TIP: You can go to Fields of Mistria inside Steam and right-click -> Manage -> Browse local files to quickly open this folder!)
- Download the latest version of this mod from the file tab.
- Extract the mod zip file into the mods folder inside your Fields of Mistria steam folder (if you don't have a mods folder, make one!).
- Run the Mods of Mistria.exe, it should detect the mod and you can click install!
