About this mod

Modifies the games worldshare_system folder to load in a weather preset similar to Episode Duscae.

Permissions and credits
Main Files:

This mod contains two different weather presets for you to choose from.

1. Only Sunny: This preset will have the game only have sunny weather, so no cloudy or rainy weather changes.

2. Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy: This preset will include all three weather types for the game to dynamically switch between, those being sunny, cloudy, and rainy.

There is also a required file to download for nighttime to work properly called cameralight.earc, without this file nighttime appears too bright around the characters.

How to Install Preset:

1. Navigate to the following file-path: FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\level\world\worldshare\environment\system

2. Replace the worldshare_system.earc file with the worldshare_system.earc file in the mod folder.

3. All Done!

How to Install Cameralight:

1. Navigate to the following file-path: FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\envsystem\trial2015\script

2. Replace the cameralight.earc file with the cameralight.earc file in the mod folder.

3. All Done!

Bugs:

Due to the nature of this weather preset being unused in the final build of the game, there are some slight bugs that I can't seem to solve at the moment.

1. Spotlights at night: Big spotlights located next to certain outposts appear way too bright at night due to weather data most likely being changed between the Duscae preset and the final released preset. Fortunately, you have to get fairly close to the lights for them to appear this way. It should also be noted that this issue doesn't apply to smaller streetlights or building interiors.

2. Noctis' clothes flashing when rain starts: When rain first starts to fall there is a chance for the rain effect on Noctis' coat to start switching between wet and dry. I'm not 100% certain on what causes this issue however, it seems to be tied to the animation Noctis does when it starts to rain, (the one where he puts his hand out to feel for rain droplets). I've found that standing still when it starts to rain tends to prevent this issue from happening. Thankfully, saving then reloading seems to solve the issue completely, and the issue itself has been fairly rare for me so far.

3. Certain story scenes may be too bright: So far, I've only encountered two scenes that appear too bright due to the weather change. The two instances being the first time you meet Cor in the royal tomb, and the first scene when you encounter deadeye in the "Friends of a Feather" quest.
