About this mod

Saves at each Main Story Quest (both Action Mode & NG+ FF mode), before bosses and before hunts. All sidequests/hunts done as soon as available. All unique item chests obtained. Does not require any DLCs.

Description

These save files are for those of you who played only part of FFXVI on PS5 and decided to pick up the PC version but don't want to have to redo the part of the game that you completed already in the past. (Or for anyone who for some reason or another needs a save file in the middle of the game.) 

  • Created using the base version of the game with no DLCs (should work for everyone)
  • One save file at beginning of each Main Story Quest
  • All sidequests and hunts done as soon as available (except Chronolith Trials, which were done after reaching Waloed in Action Focused Mode and omitted completely in NG+)
  • All treasure chests with unique items (gear or orchestrion) obtained
  • Very few purchasable items bought (to let users decide how to spend their gil)
  • Exp boost, AP boost, and Gil boost accessories worn for quest turn-ins and trash mob fights
  • Armor Appearance set to default outfit
  • Weapon Appearance set to Invictus
  • Brave Blade equipped pre-Invictus
  • Additional saves now available for Medal of Valor bosses, and FF Mode bosses + hunts




Installation

Download the appropriate save file pack, unzip and copy the correct PNG file to your save file directory.
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XVI\Steam\1234567890  (Substitute your Windows username and your unique Steam ID number)
If you already have some save files, you may need to rename the downloaded PNG. Any number from 0001 to 0050 works. 

When loading up the save file, please note that I have reset/refunded all Ability Points, removed all Eikon abilities, and unequipped accessories.  Remember to set all of that up before you start playing!
