This is a custom difficulty I designed to serve as a bridge between FF mode and Ultimaniac mode. As it stands, FF mode is too easy, and Ultimaniac is quite good, but significantly harder than anything else in the game. This mod will serve as a good way to naturally improve at the game. By the time you clear this mod, you will be ready for Ultimaniac mode.
It is intended for FF Arcade Mode, but can be used in FF campaign as well.
Enemy HP and damage have been adjusted to nearly the same values as Ultimaniac mode, and item restrictions have been made for Arcade Mode.
For those who have played Ultimaniac mode and *dislike* it, then this mod will allow you to properly engage with the game at a higher difficulty that isn't Ultimaniac.
Please note that this mod is *easier* than Ultimaniac mode by design, but significantly harder than FF mode.
This is NOT intended to be used with any other difficulty modes. You can try it if you'd like, but I haven't tested it and am unsure if it'll work properly.
