Changelogs
Version 1.21
Increased enemy damage limit.
Version 1.2
Increased HP limit to 32767
Version 1.1
Did some bit-smuggling to increase the damage limit to 99,999.
This mod is now included in Postscriptthree's Tweaks, a collection of my mods in one .iro file for convenience. It has a bunch of other stuff too, all configurable, so check it out.
This mod raises the damage limit for friendly characters to 99,999 if they have their 4th limit break learned. There is also a toggle to not require 4th level limits, and Cait Sith can always break the limit since he only has two limit breaks. Characters can also reach up to 32767 max hp.
Hitting for more than 10k damage isn't that necessary in vanilla outside of emerald and ruby weapon, but it's helpful in some challenge mods and is also fun. It's much more difficult to reach the full 99,999 than it is to reach 9999, even at max stats. It makes large damage single-hit moves useful for a lot more of the game. I'm not sure it's even possible to reach 32767 hp without additional mods, since you reach 9999 so late anyway.
This uses an .iro compatible with the 7th Heaven mod loader for easy installation. The UI fix for breaking the HP limit won't work with mods that change the layout of the UI. If it doesn't work with a UI mod, either turn off the UI mod or use 1.1, which doesn't let you break the HP limit. I may add support for these mods at some point.
