Why?
If Midgar represents the USA or Europe, then the Nibel region could evoke a Germanic atmosphere, Costa Del Sol feels distinctly
Latin, and Wutai is unmistakably Japan/China/East Asia. This mod brings authenticity to Wutai by making Japanese its primary language (because there is no Chinese or korean dubbing...). Since Yuffie is from Wutai, it feels natural for her native language to be Japanese, even though she speaks English fluently.


What does it do?
With this mod, Yuffie becomes bilingual—seamlessly switching between Japanese and English depending on the context. She speaks English when interacting with her companions, but when she's
alone (or speaking directly to the player), expressing strong emotions,
does not want to be understood or engaging with fellow Wutai residents,
she naturally speaks Japanese. There are a few dialogues mixing Japanese and English. For now, very few, but I would like to add more later.
This linguistic shift adds depth to her character and enriches the atmosphere, especially with the dual subtitle system ensuring full immersion. The dialogue box has been adjusted for better readability.
