A mod that replaces Airbuster 2k textures for a full set of upscaled ESRGAN 4096x4096 textures Of course, the differences are more noticeable at high resolutions (1440p-4K) and are hard to notice in 1080p
Method used: realesrgan4x in cupscale for Color (BC1) and Normal (BC5) textures, with some touchups to the normal textures: As for the Airbuster in particular, that's 16 textures different textures upscaled in total.
Install instructions: place the .pak file in the mods folder in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade\End\Content\Paks\~mods
Disclaimer: I made this mod in order to try upscaling textures for a moving character/enemy/object. I don't plan on doing other enemies on a request basis. Take note that a single enemy in 4k res textures is 260mb, and also took a LOT of time to make.
Sorry for not making a cool 2k-4k tex comparison and such things, but that's because I originally didn't plan to release this mod.
As always, a big thanks to JujuB and SamsanTS in the Open FF7r discord for the needed tools and tutorials! Edit: and thanks to @gojieb for their advice regarding normals!
