Echo-S 8 is a fully voice acted mod for the original Final Fantasy 8 on the PC created by the Tsunamods X Studio Still teams.
This is one of the next mods in line after the completion of the Final Fantasy 7 voice mod (Echo-S 7) from January this year.
We are also voicing Final Fantasy 9 (Mod page linked) and King Of Fighters XV (Trailer linked)

Currently, this mod will only work on the original Final Fantasy 8 and not the remaster.
Echo-S 8 can only exist thanks to the FFNx driver, and as of posting this, FFNx does not work with the remaster.
So until it does, Echo-S 8 cannot either.
This demo includes:
- Full voiced dialog for every spoken field text box in this demo
- Voiced FMV's
- Automatic text scrolling to allow conversations to feel more fluid
How to play:
- Download and run the installer, it'll download and install Echo-S 8 for you.
- It will download, install and setup the FFNx driver for you to allow it work
- It will also download and install a music pack of the PS1 OST to replace the PC release MIDI tracks
That's it. Now you can play! No manual messing around at all!
