FF9 Tweaks ModThis comprehensive mod for Final Fantasy IX offers a variety of gameplay tweaks to enhance your experience. Here's a breakdown of the features:
General Tweaks
- Lose Gil on Hit: Enable this to lose gil every time you take damage. As long as you have gils you take no damage.
- Disable XP Gain: Prevent characters from gaining experience points.
- Party Manager: Customize your party by selecting characters for each slot. (The lock mode is experimental)
- Solo Mode: Enable this mode to attempt solo runs with your favorite character. When the selected character is present, the mod will attempt to remove other party members.
- True Solo Mode (Experimental): This mode tries to force a specific character into every battle, though it's still in the testing phase.
- Stats Penalty System: Enable a stats penalty system that can be based on an external file (e.g., current Twitch viewers) or a manual percentage penalty.
- Raw Stats Penalty: Apply a direct penalty to your stats manually.
- HP Loss: Lose HP every second based on a percentage of your max HP and the number of Ability Points you are currently using. Different formulas are available to customize the HP loss.
- Output to File: Optionally output the HP loss data to a specified file for stream display purposes usually.
