This mod makes small but meaningful changes to both of Penance's Arms:
- They will now stay dead for an additional turn before regenerating. - However, upon regenerating, they will now take a turn instantly.
This makes it impossible to win the fight without letting the arms get a turn, requiring a total change from the typical popular strategy and engaging with the threat of his entire moveset.
But it's also not nearly as difficult as the "Penance Extreme Challenge" of never killing the arms, and should provide a nice middle ground for people who want a different and overall reasonably challenging Penance battle.
As a quality of life change, both arms now have 99x Dark Matter as their steal item. You can grab them and Flee the fight to quickly build armor setups even without using Save/RAM Editor tools.
Finally, don't even think of trying to use Zanmato on True Penance.
