For Ps4 Controller users i have created a custom Controller layout that allows switching on the fly without needing to reach for your keyboard.
1. To use right click on ghost of tsushima in your library then select manage > Controller layout. 2. Click your layout under "Current Button Layout" 3. Click community layouts to the right hend side. 4. Click on Standard + Execution Mod 5. Press apply layout on the bottom right 6. It should work now.
Share and x is slow. Share and triangle is fast. Share and square is very fast.
If you dont use a Ps4 controller you need to find a button that you can press first in combination with any other other 3 buttons to change the speed. 1. Do step 1 as above 2. Click edit layout 3. Press Action Sets in the Left corner 4. Click on the settings button to the right of "In Game Controls" 5. Click add layer 6. Enter a name and confirm. 7. Now click on the bullet point "buttons" on the left 8. Now you need to find your button you want to press first. I used share but if your controller doesnt have that button you will need to find another. 9. Click on the button you want to become your hotkey (for example square or x should say jump, press the equivalent for the button you chose) 10. On the top row chose action sets 11. Click Hold action set layer and choose the action set you created 12. Now on the top left it should say in game controls. Switch over by pressing the button to the right of that (for me R1) 13. Now you edit the action set. Find your 3 buttons which you want to change the speeds. I used x as f1 (slow), triangle as f2 (fast) and Square as f3 (very fast) 14. Save your configuration 15. If you have the game running and cheat engine running in the backround you should now be able to change the speed by pressing your hotkey button (from step 8) in combination with any of the other 3 (step 13)
1. Download cheat engine (your pc will most likely think it is a virus, allow to run) 2. Download the mod file and unzip 3. Double click the cheat table (the file from the unziped folder) --> a new window opens 4. Start ghost of tsushima 5. When you are in the game, click on the little pc screen icon in the left corner of cheat engine (the opened window from step 3) 6. Pick ghost of tsushima from the list --> in this step you told cheat engine which game files it should modify 7. Press okay if any pop ups come up 8. now you need to activate the cheat itself for that you will need to click on the little square on the bottom of the cheat engine window --> click on the one left of the text that says "Player" 9. now there should be an X in the box and a new menu should have popped up below the "Player" tag named "Stats" 10. Click on the stats box 11. Two new windows should now be there named "Stealth kill speed" and "Katana damage"
For Stealth kill speed: 1. Check the box 2. With f1, f2 and f3 you should now be able to switch the speed 3. You can see the change in the last column named "Value" (0,1,2) 4. If you are on controller refer to the pinned post on how to set up hotkeys there
For Katana Damage: 1. Check the box 2. Double click the "Value" column and change the number of the katana damage
You will have to do this every time you boot the game up i believe
Might be a stupid question but are the modifications persistent or do I need to run CE every time? I want to lower my sword damage but I'm not sure if I'd have to run CE and change my damage every time I launch the game.
You first need to click the little screen icon in cheat engine in the top left and choose the ghost of tsushima process. Then when you are ingame tick the boxes. I have had this not work a couple of times, just retry till it works.

Does it mean I press F1 and I get the animations from level 1 tanto and F2 for animations from level 2 etc?
Are the buttons somehow rebindable? Because I use F buttons for swordstances.
Yes and the buttons are but I haven't tried to bind to 1 button.
