About this mod

'Photo real' gritty preset with dynamic brightness.

Once upon a time, Jin got in his boat and rocked up in main land Japan. Some dude saw him and yelled at his chum - Hey look it's the ghost from the .... whatever, I don't know why I called a preset that either.

Permissions and credits
This is a more de-saturated and contrasted look than many other presets so likely not everyone's cup of tea. It makes lighting stand out more on for example metallic surfaces and the sky and I was hoping it'll make you feel like Mongolian throat singing.

Ps: You may have to increase in-game brightness quite a bit, depending on your screen.
Mine's set to 70.

One of the effects the preset uses, is fakeHDR - If you're using HDR already, you may have to switch off one of the two - Not sure how well
the rest of the effects' lighting will work with the pc/game's HDR.

Update:

1.1 Added EyeAdaption - to dynamically brighten darker areas slightly - e.g. inside buildings. Disable this effect first if your fps tanks.
1.2 Reduced color banding, added slight ambient light and sharpness.

What's the fps impact?

My current screen is limited to 60fps, so I can't say much about performance impact because there's no drop when I use the preset (I've had some of the other presets drop my fps below 50 where this one doesn't).

I can't see sh#$%, what's happening?

1. Check if your screen is on.
2. Check your brightness/HDR settings in game or edit the preset to your taste.

To install Reshade - The usual:

You can download the latest reshade by searching 'reshade.me' - at the time of updating this, it's 6.3.3

I usually just paste the install file in the game's main directory.
Run it.
Select or browse for GoT's exe.
Select direct x 10
select all the effects by unchecking then rechecking  the check/uncheck all box - or whatever works until you can visually identify that all the boxes are checked.
Then install and finish.

Using the preset:

Download or paste downloaded GhostftCoast file in the main directory as well.
In game if running reshade for the first time - you can skip or follow tutorial.
'Home' to open/close reshade menu
In reshade menu - Click on presets and select GhostftCoast.
Suggestion: at top of reshade menu, select settings tab and assign a button to toggle effects on/off - this is not configured by default.
