Install the EXE Version 2.2 of the first person mod, you don't have to play in first person it's only to disable the stupid anti cheat Ubi made for this game so reshade can hook like it's supposed to.
Turn off the global illumination from the shader/environment tab, that's where most of the hit comes from. I'll do an update this month or the next for optimisation.
Resolution does have an huge impact on shaders yeah. Turn off the global illumination from the shader/environment tab, that's where most of the hit comes from.
I have tried everything below, but after installing the mod, my game can no longer locate Uplay PC. This happens when I try to start in Uplay, Steam, and from the application shortcut. I've tried to reinstall and no luck. I do have the first person mod downloaded. Do you know of any fixes for this?
you can change the key from the reshade.ini file with notepad or similar, and about antcheat there is a sticky post right above your comment that offers the solution.
Maybe someone can help.. Under installation it says Toggle the effect ingame with "scroll lock" key. I don't have anything on my keyboard that says scroll lock. I searched the internet they say you can toggle with shift-F14. My keyboard doesn't have a F14. So what now? Thank you.

I am playing on Ultrawide, so I'm not sure if that is affecting it more?
