About Ultra+
Ultra+ is a series of mods designed for all PCs, fixing bugs and performance, with the best possible visuals.
What it Does
Ultra+ is a series of mods for everyone, fixing bugs and performance, with the best possible visuals.
This is NOT an engine.ini
Ultra+ mods take complete control of Unreal, from texture definitions, NPC quality, cut scenes, to even game settings menus — everything. You cannot do this mod in an engine.ini.
The goal of the Ultra+ series of mods is simple: To fix all engine problems (including performance and quality), so that everyone can play the game the way it was intended by the authors (from potato to insane).
Important Information:
- This is the first version of this mod, there will probably be issues. There may be a crash when running it for the first time and building shaders in game
- Especially when using raytracing, this mod will be more performance intensive if you turn on all the effects and turn up the quality.
- We change the in-game quality settings. Epic quality is much higher than the standard game.
- Reflection quality and raytracing quality are tied to the in-game effects setting
Features:
- Ray Reconstruction
- Greatly enhanced raytracing
- Improved reflections
- Improved visuals
- HDR
- Reflex + boost
- Configuration file to set all mod settings
- Raytracing and reflection scalability applied based on current in-game effects setting
Installation:
- Drag everything in the main zip to your Ghostrunner2\ folder
- If you want to use Ray Reconstruction, copy nvngx_dlssd.dll from here into Ghostrunner2\Ghostrunner2\Plugins\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64 .Reconstruction . It should be next to nvngx_dlss.dll. If the location isn't the same for you due to a different platform then search for nvngx_dlss.dll and put nvngx_dlssd.dll next to it
Game must be launched with -dx12. If this is done correctly you should see a raytracing option in your in-game graphics settings. This should be turned on
For steam:
- Right-click Ghostrunner 2 in your library.
- Click Properties.
- Scroll down to Launch Options and make sure the option is set to "Play with DirectX 11."
- In the text box below, type “-dx12”
- Type -dx12 into the games "Launch Options" under "Manage"
Configuration:
Please read the provided UltraPlusConfig.ini in the zip for instructions and information on each setting. Please note that it is recommended to use the F12 configuration method when changing raytracing related settings to reload the scalability. Below is an example configuration file:
; This configuration file loads on game startup
; In-game keybinds are disabled by default, set EnableKeybinds=on below to enable them on game start - or it can be turned on in game
; Press F12 to load the current configuration file while in-game - you can now edit the configuration file and load the changes while in-game
; If a setting does not specify a keybind, then it can only be changed via the configuration file
; The 'game' option for settings below tells Ultra Plus to leave the setting at game default
; CTRL+F12 will reset the configuration file to default values - you may need to restart game for "game" controlled settings to load game values
; game/off/on;
ChromaticAberration=game
; F6
; game/a/c/e/f/g;
DLSSPreset=c
; off/on; off disables all keybinds except for F12 which loads the current configuration file in game - can be toggled on in-game by setting to on in config and pressing F12
EnableKeybinds=off
; CTRL + F8
; game/off/on;
HDR=on
; F4
; game/off/low/medium/high;
MotionBlur=low
; F10
; off/on; Ray Reconstruction
RayReconstruction=on
; F9
; game/off/on; RTAO, RTGI, RTShadows and RTSkylight - reflections are on by default
RaytracingEffects=on
; F11
; vanilla/high/ultra; maximum roughness of surfaces considered to be reflective - a higher quality means more surfaces will be included in reflections - performance intensive
ReflectionQuality=high
; ZERO
; physicallybased/medium/high;
ReflectionSmoothness=high
; CTRL + F6
; game/off/on; enables reflex low latency with boost
Reflex=on
; F3
; game/off/on
