ODYSSEE OVERHAUL reworks virtually all textures and models of the mod. Some texture packs had problems with errors and bugs, many problems and visual elements were not fixed, for the reason that they were made as a universal solution for each mod. This project was made with the priority of this particular large-scale mod... and the work turned out to be just as large-scale, which makes this replaсer the best for playing Odyssee...рowever, you can also install it on any other mod.
A large selection was carried out among different texture packs, mainly those made by me. Some textures were also drawn exclusively for this pack (this applies not only to armor, clothing, weapons, but also to environment textures).The appearance of the valley of mines and Khorinis has changed the most. Some textures were made using a neural network
As you remember, one of the most annoying visual problems was related to the armor of NPCs with helmets and fabric + chain mail hoods. Apparently there was some kind of compilation error and part of the characters’ necks stuck up (a terrible sight). All such armor was redesigned and received new models, and new helmets, hoods...
Approximate figures for armor and weapons (meaning only models, because the items themselves are simply piled up):

Armor without such problems also had headgear changed from poor vanilla ones to high quality ones. Of course, some clothes were left with the old ones as a change, but there are only a few of them. All shields, all melee and long-range weapons (even a musket), helmets were redesigned, almost every armor and every clothing received new high-quality models and textures.
I tried to make the range of armor as diverse as the game allows, so that their appearance would be as different as possible, which would also be an additional pleasant bonus.
Food and other items from the inventory have also been completely redone.
The total number of changes in the pack is over a thousands, I don’t dare to give exact numbers (it’s generally difficult with armor, because a lot of things fall out)))
attention If you encounter a lack of paladin and dragon hunter armor, as well as if the ladder disappears: This is due to polygon restrictions. You must set dwNumVertices to more than 30000 in systempack.ini... I think that’s enough. And the problem with the stairs will be solved by this directx
2.2 Update
First of all, the textures with the alpha channel were fixed. Now there should be no problems with focus and aggro of monsters.There should be no problems with interaction with some objects (barrel with water, etc.)The textures of some armor sets and clothes were updated similarly to the list of the last update in this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/gothic2/mods/77I also changed the mercenary sword (the minifix is no longer needed).
1.5 Update
This update fixes textures with an alpha channel (enemies could be focused through textures... and the enemies could see you too) and adds different armor to the shooter. The bookshelf was also removed (on Athanos, the back wall made it difficult to take books), and the textures of the large cauldron returned.
