After having fought Proto-Bahamut many more times than I would have like I said enough is enough and decided I needed to make a mod that takes the RNGesus out of this fight. Basically this mod all but guarantees that at least one (1) terminus weapon will drop from one of the gold chests after completing "The Tale of Bahamut's Rage" so you now only need to do the quest as many times as there are terminus weapons.

How to Install? Please follow this guide.

Notes:

  • Technically this mod replaces the spawn rate of the chest that contains the terminus weapons so if you feel like taking things even further than feel free to use my mod in addition to Easy Terminus Weapons by PattyHoswell for an incredibly easy time.
  • Important! Some users have reported that weapons dropped using Easy Terminus Weapons may be bugged so if at all concerned then you should probably just do the original Proto-Bahamut quest instead. Please note I HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED this issue myself and I can't reproduce it so user error or misunderstanding may be the cause.
  • After you have all the terminus weapons I'd suggest disabling my mod as it no longer serves any purpose.
  • Regarding Sandalphon, Tweyen, and Seofon they all don't have terminus weapons to begin with so you don't need to worry about them.
  • Miscellaneous file for increased War Element+ drop rate added by user request. Please be aware that it doesn't require or depend on my Terminus weapon mod but still shares its requirements also it can be used alongside my Terminus weapons mod without conflict.

Important Info:

From Relink Modding Wiki:

Do NOT use this online. Likewise, do NOT use this to create and publish cheat related mods, such as skill edits.
Table research and edits should be reserved to adding or adjusting content. Using mods with table edits has a high potential for breakage if used online. If you are publishing a mod with table edits, only include the table files you've edited in your mod, not ALL the tables.
Mention which tables you have edited when publishing your mod. Otherwise multiple mods may conflict if they edit the same table.

Table I have edited per mod file(if mods share file only one can be used):
  • gbfr.cheats.fasterterminusweapons (Main Mod): \system\table\reward.tbl
  • gbfr.cheats.betterwarelementplusdrop (Miscellaneous Mod): \system\table\reward_lot.tbl
  • gbfr.cheats.biasedwarelementplusdrop (Miscellaneous Mod): \system\table\reward_lot.tbl
