About this mod
Increases drop rates for rare items such as "Crown of Lament" and "Supreme Weapon Essence". Optional files for rare sigils.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
For instance if you want to run both 1st DLC characters (Tweyen / Seofon) you need per character :
- 3 Supreme weapon essences for their crewmate card
- 1 more for their Ascension weapon
- 5 more for their "Catastrophe" sigil
With a drop rate of 3% per essence.
Since that'll never drop, you need to farm the revenant medallions (around 8 per run) which at 30 medallions per essence is about 34 runs for one character ...
Hence this mod, to sharply reduce the grinding time for scarce yet highly needed items.
DROP RATE CHANGES
For Supreme Weapon Essence
Adjusted to range between 12% and 30% (instead of 3% to 7%) depending on quest rank.
For Crown of Lament
From normal chest - Lot #1
- x3 Wing of Portent (30%) => unchanged (30%)
- x2 Wing of Portent (50%) => x2 Wing of Portent (20%)
- x1 Crown of Lament (20%) => x2 Crown of Lament (50%)
From S Rank chest - Lot #1
- x1 Wing of Portent (60%) => x1 Wing of Portent (50%)
- x1 Crown of Lament (40%) => x1 Crown of Lament (50%)
For rare sigils (only included on top of the above if you download the optional files instead of the main ones)
- War Elemental V+ : 0.18% => 8.3%*
- Supplementary Damage V+ : 0.18% => 8.3%*
* only in latest optional mod version 1.0.1, previous version rates were misleading (around 2% each)

COMPATIBILITY
Was created for version 1.3.1 of the game by updating the reward_lot.tbl drop table.
Any other mod updating the same table will create conflicts (for instance, the optional one from https://www.nexusmods.com/granbluefantasyrelink/mods/449?tab=description).
WARNING
Despite being called a rebalancing, this is technically a cheat and should never be used online.
