New Vegas patch 1.3 released, G.E.C.K. temporarily broken

    In the past, games were finished when they came out.
    Probably because they did not consist of nearly 8 gigs of complex data and a publisher pushing devs to get the game out by the agreed time, and lets not forget the gamers wanting Naow!!

    Any news on that front? Since i installed the new patch to play Old World Blues, i can't use the GECK anymore. What realy sucks by the way because i need to work on my mods.

    There are also Problems with NVSE as it was describe on the first pages.
    Damn, i hate this patch crap. In the past, games were finished when they came out.

    Ambient sounds playing in the wrong cells seems to be a problem for everyone and not just me. Hooray...I think. From what I can tell, everyone's problems with this particular issue seemed to pop up right after the most recent patch. I know mine did. It also seems like the ambient audio from the last cell you were in is always what plays in the current cell (on top of the current cell's ambient noise, if I'm hearing things correctly).

    I don't know if the problem persists when fast traveling (since I don't fast-travel). I do know that it fixes itself on save-reload. But who wants to have to load every cell twice?

    Bottom line: It definitely seems like this is the work of the latest patch. So now we need a new patch to patch the patch that patched the patch before that patch.

    After this patch was isntalled, I can see that it changed some of the weapons, but why is the Service Rifle rate of fire in my game not affected? (It's still approx. 2 shots/sec instead of 4...)

    i hear ya zombkiller, i'm kinda picky when it comes to sounds, kinda messes up my own personal mod

    The ambient sound issue is very annoying and I hope it will be fixed soon...sometime I hear inside casinos the wind and outside the casino music

    I tried CdubbsInTheHouse's tricks. It worked, along with going through each and every mod I had running. Seems the 1.3 patch doesn't like new weapons being added, at least from my experience.

    I think this patch is a cause of a big problem im having.I equip a weapon and 20-30 secondsl ater the weapon brokes.This happens with all weapons i equip.Can somebody tells what glitch/bug is that.This problem is killing me!

    I have the new version of the geck from the website everyone has linked... and it still loads nothing when I attempt to use it. No error messages or crashes, it just does not load anything.

    I'm going to go out on a limb and assume I'm missing something, but I have the file that everyone's linked to, repeatedly (Yes the New Vegas, not fallout 3 one). I have the latest version of New Vegas. And remind me never to buy a Bethesda product within the first three years of it being released... Id say three years AFTER they sell the thing they should just about have it working.
