Hi guys, sorry for being MIA, i've been too busy with Witcher 3 Apparently i may have messed up the .dll in the file, i will fix this.... sometime. Until then, you can try installing Windows platform update or whatever
Hi, I installed the mod correctly (I think) -placed the Contents of the GTA V Folder - SWEETFX in my GTA folder (This PC > DATA (D:) > SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > Grand Theft Auto V ) and placed the preset text document (SweetFX_settings) into the SweetFX folder that was placed in the GTA folder. Even though I followed the instructions it doesn't seem to work. I start up the game and it loads fine but nothing happens when I press the Scroll Lock button. Are there any external mods I need to get for this to work or did I do something wrong? plz hlp.
Guys, I have a problem. A couple of people have the same issue, as I see. I did everything as it said in the txt. I updated the 2012 C++ and the windows platform (I think), I even reneamed D3d11 to dxgi. When I load up the game it says that the shaders were loaded and everything, but I can't toggle on the shaders. It stays vanilla. I've tried hitting F12, Insert, Delete, End, everything that's in the settings.txt and that people suggested, but nothing happens. It's really bugging me, please help!
Please make sure your the Sweetfx_settings is INSIDE the Sweetfx folder - /Grand Theft Auto V/SweetFX/Sweetfx_settings.txt Also the toggle button is ScrollLock
Can anyone confirm that they haven't been banned using only graphical mods? I assume a ban from Rockstar is a permanent one. :C That being said I wanna make sure regret is not a factor. lol
Looks great, works (haven't really tested, longer gameplay, but benchmarking worked fine, no fps loss). Been modding TESV for a while now and gave up until the modders finalize their stuff Great job
First, let me apologize for being an idiot. Yes, I'm obviously a moron. Now that that's out of the way, I have to FN clue WTF you are talking about in your installation instructions. "Copy the contents of "GTA V Folder - SWEETFX" and paste on your Grand Theft Auto V folder" GTA V Folder - SWEETFX? What the hell is that? I downloaded your file and got an .rar file. What the hell is the GTA V Folder - SWEETFX? What is the .rar? What do I do what the file you provided? "Pick a preset then drag the .txt file to your Sweetfx folder" Pick a preset? What preset? I searched though those links and found a text document. Ok, so I'm supposed to add one of each to......Sweet FX folder? Do I need to create a Sweet FX folder? Do I make a new blank text document and copy paste one of each category from the text document from another website into it? What are you talking about?
Again, I'm sorry for not being on the up and up for programing and moding. I just saw your mod and wanted to try it. Seriously though, can you take the time to break this down step by step, get into the details, put it in your description and provide all the required files? Thanks.
Hi, a .rar is a type of compressed folder. It can be opened with a program such as 7zip and will contain the "GTA V Folder - SWEETFX" as well as the presets. Most modders don't include these steps in their instructions since they're virtually the same for all mods using compressed files (since they're much easier for users to download):
1. Install 7zip or another program capable of opening .rar files. 2. Open the .rar file with the program of choice. You should now be able to see the full contents of the file. 3. Continue instructions from the modder dragging/dropping the appropriate files or folders into the proper directories. The .rar program will dynamically decompress the files for you, so it's basically the same as copying normal files. 4. Enjoy!
Having an issue with the game crashing during launch - Installed exactly as instructions indicated and double-checked. I've tried renaming the file to d3d11.dll as asked to no avail. Here is the log from D3D11.txt:
