VR MOD IS MANDATORYInstall:
- Download VR mod and extract/copy the contents into the game root folder
-Download bHaptics mod and copy/extract into the BepInEx/plugins folder - In steam, go to Gunfire Reborn, select Properties, un-check use game theater while steamVR is active and type in the launch parameters
-vrmode OpenVR - Open the game through steam, Bepinex will begin working through the game files and loading the VR mod, then open again, putting you into SteamVR with a loading screen, you will not be able to proceed beyond this point through SteamVR
- If you are in SteamVR menu, you will need to return to the desktop, VR is not accessible until the DLC/Roadmap screen is bypassed, you will need to press "OK" on this screen
-If wearing bHaptics, you should feel a heartbeat haptic upon loading the game, this indicates they are active - After bypassing the DLC/Roadmap screen, you should be able to enter VR**
- Optionally, you may go into the Steam menu from here and download my bindings saved to community, lance.mccary, if you are using a quest 2.
- Under settings, you can "unlock FPS" , increase smooth turning speed, and increase the size of the damage numbers, this was found to be helpful during playtesting
- You can increase the rotation speed by editing the config file in BepInEx/config/VRMod.cfg
Change the value of "SmoothTurningSpeed = 1" to "SmoothTurningSpeed = 2" or "SmoothTurningSpeed = 3"
