This mod replaces the Battle Rifle firing sound in Halo 3 with the Halo Infinite Battle Rifle firing shot from the Inside Halo Infinite March 2021 update

This sound mod for Halo 3 MCC replaces the Battle Rifle sound with the Halo Infinite Battle Rifle firing sound. Basically I took the Halo Infinite Battle Rifle sound effect from the Inside Infinite - March 2021 update and modded it into Halo 3

Granted that it doesn't sound perfect due to how the sounds work in Halo 3. But if you really want to get the feel of the new Battle Rifle sound while waiting for Halo Infinite, you should try this out! ?
And just a PSA before you download
Please know that I have not tested this in online matchmaking. So I highly recommend running MCC with Anti-Cheat Disabled and only use it in Custom Games or Campaign.
Installation
Installing the mod is pretty easy. Right now these instructions are for the Steam version only.
1. In your Steam library look for Halo MCC then right click then manage then click on "Browse Local Files"
2. Look for the 'halo3' folder then inside of that folder, look for "fmod". Inside there will be one folder called "pc"
3. Copy the sfx.fsb file to a flash drive, external hard drive, or another folder on your PC. You will need to have a backup copy in case you want to revert to the original sounds. Otherwise, you will need to Verify Integrity of Game Files on Steam
4. In this ZIP file, copy the sfx.fsb and copy it to the "pc" folder
5. Launch MCC with Anti-Cheat disabled.
