About this mod

A collection of tags for a fully operable marine player biped. To be used with the Halo 3 editing kit

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Installation:
Place the "tags" folder in your H3EK directory.
Notes:
(The custom "sp_marine.model_animation_graph" uses animation inheritance from the normal "marine.model_animation_graph".
Meaning edits to the marine animations could affect the marine player animations)
(The "data" folder simply includes all the .JMA files I used to create the model_animation_graph.
Put this in the H3EK directory if you want access to any of it)

What's included:

Camera:
biped_recon_3rd_person:
(This is a copy of the 3rd person camera from ODST.)

objects/characters/marine:
fp:
fp_standard:
(A first person hand model. The flashlight marker is attacked to the right hand to simulate a weapon's light.
It's taken directly off the marine model so it looks a little blocky.)
fp_legs:
fp_legs:
(A set of legs to used in first person.)
sp_marine:
biped:
(Simply an edited version of the marine.biped suited for player control.)
model:
(links everything together, and determines the biped's health.
by default marines have 100 health and no shields. I've set this to 90 health and 10 shield. but you can edit it yourself)
model_animation_graph:
(The real meat of this whole thing. included is about 100 custom animations, as well as some edited Halo 3 ODST animations.
This graph has animation support for every vehicle in the game (including the Elephant) as well as boarding support for said vehicles.
There is also some custom pelican animations for anyone working on a flyable pelican mod.
It also supports every weapon the Masterchief can use. (turrets, swords, dual wielding, flags and skulls. It's all here)
Riding in the back of the Troophog and on the side of the Scorpion is also supported, but not for melee weapons or the brute shot.)
marine_female:
fp_legs:
(simply includes a female variant of the fp_legs)
sp_marine_female:
(tags used to create a female variant of the marine player biped.
The "lipsync.model_animation_graph" is just there for the "sp_marine_female.model_animation_graph" to inherit through. so mostly just ignoreit.)

ui/chud:
marine.chud_definition:
(An edited version of the Masterchief's hud.
The only difference is that the blue shield indicator now represents the player's health instead of shields.
The green overshield indicator now represents regular shields, and so on.)
