About this mod
A re-balance mod. Re-tuning of the entire sandbox makes every weapon equally viable even on higher difficulties. Various balance changes facilitate a more consistent challenge throughout the entire gameplay experience.

Changes:
- Weapons -
- All usable weapons re-tuned for equal capability while preserving uniqueness.
- Assault Rifle re-designed. It is now the main long range weapon instead of the pistol. It has a 2x scope.
- All weapons can headshot.
- Headshots no longer instantly kill, instead inflict additional damage.
- Flamethrower restored and re-tuned. It is featured in 2 missions.
- Vehicles -
- All usable vehicles re-tuned to be more consistent with vehicles from other Bungie Halo games.
- Warthog guns can be operated from the driver's seat when un-manned.
- NPC's -
- All NPC's will fire their weapons at much further distances.
- Elite Field Masters are more dangerous.
- Hunters are more dangerous.
- Warthog gunners are much more effective.
- Player -
- Player movement speed, movement acceleration, and jump height slightly increased.
- Player shield recharge delay slightly reduced. (Shields recharge faster)
- Scenarios -
- Truth and Reconciliation: Shotgun can be used during the ship section.
- Assault on the Control Room: Sniper Rifle replaced with Shotgun. Ridge fight following vehicle section reworked.
- Library: Flamethrower featured. Hint: "Please follow closely, this portal is the first of ten."
- Two Betrayals: Spawn positions moved. Warthog added for final ground encounter.
- The Maw: Flamethrower featured.
- Various other minor changes
Download main file
Open your MCC Halo 1 installation directory [Steam Library>Right click MCC>Manage>Browse local files>halo 1
Copy maps folder into "halo 1" directory
Replace all files
Remember to backup original files if you want
I made this mod for myself and decided to release it to the public, so it very likely will not be changed.
