About this mod

Includes imported skirmishers from Reach to Halo 3. Uses their original models, animations and textures. They behave closely to their Reach counterparts, with some differences, Commandos will use active camo, champions have an energy shield. Now includes ragdoll physics.

This mod still has several issues, I recommend using Calantorn's combi jackals instead which include greater customisation and skirmishers. Problems with the physics model is still present in this mod, and some unusual AI behaviour problems I was never able to iron out.

Note: This is not compatible with 1SDANi's Skirmishers

Halo Reach Skirmishers imported to Halo 3. Includes fully functioning characters using their Reach model, textures, animation etc. Now also includes ragdoll physics, however ragdoll physics are still a bit janky and WIP. Unfortunately many sound / frame events are not in the animation graph, it seems to be incredibly time consuming to add these in so I'm unsure when I will have the time to add them. Some have been added, but most are missing.

Character ranks include:
- Minor
- Major
- Commando
- Murmillo
- Champion

There are some minor differences.

- Skirmishers with rifles can use a melee attack that was not included in the final version of Reach
- The Champion rank has its own shields (like elites) to differentiate it from other ranks.
- Commandos can use active camouflage.
- The armour shaders use the improved shaders from VKMT https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/1476

Known issues:
- Murmillo shields do not extinguish on death
- Occasionally, skirmishers seem to have weirdly limited awareness and won't react to their surroundings until shot at, I'll look into fixing it in the future and re-upload here.
- Their turn animations are very slow at times, it can look a bit jarring. Fixed this
- Ragdoll physics are pretty janky, but they're there. Currently they can get stuck in the ground and wig out a bit, seems like there's an issue with the left forearm bone but at this stage I'm not sure how to fix it. They also seem to have very little mass despite fiddling around with these values, so if you melee them, they will fly into the air like they weigh nothing.
