This is the Halo Reach model Spirit, ported to Halo 3 as a fully working vehicle, character animations (brute/elite/grunt/jackal/skirmisher) for exiting, source sound files with a batch script to quickly compile them, a test level with the dropship already set up and finally the script and some useful information for setting it up in your own levels.

The dropship's original textures have been upscaled to look crisper.

The vehicle also includes three variants:
- Default (Closer to how it looks in Reach)
- Classic (Closer to CE's look)
- Friendly (elite variant)

Pre-setup:
- Drop the data and tags folders into your H3EK directory.

- Change the parent animation graph for the brute/elite/grunt/jackal/skirmisher to their _fork animation counterpart
(Skirmisher tags here): https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/2281/?tab=posts&jump_to_comment=121664448&BH=0

- Add the tuning_fork vehicle to the generic character tag under tags>ai, just duplicate the phantom block
and switch it to the tuning_fork.vehicle, otherwise the AI and vehicle won't move, even if you have scripted it to

- Compile the sounds:
1. Navigate to your fmod folder inside your H3EK directory.
2. BACK UP YOUR PC FOLDER (fsb is notoriously finnicky and will corrupt your sound bank if you look at it too hard).
3. Ensure that all H3EK applications are closed (Sapien, Guerilla, tagtest, or else you will instantly die IRL when you compile the sounds).
4. Commands to import the sounds have been included in the readme, all you need to do is copy and paste the commands through a cmd window opened in your H3EK directory.

Note:
- Characters using handheld turrets will drop them entering the passenger seats unless the support weapon flag is unticked in the weapon tag.
As far as I know, that's the only way to prevent them from dropping a turret when entering a vehicle, you may be able to find a work around by spawning the player
version weapon upon the character's death, and destroying the non-support version.

- In the included scenario/level, open console and use:
wake c_dropship_encounter

This will spawn the dropship and the squad / vehicle and do all the necessary bits to load them up and drop them off.

If you would like to have a look at how to set up the dropship in a level, the script has been included in the data folder.

Known issues:
- The collision model is kind of shit, I just about remade it from scratch, however it should function as intended,
the only problem may be if you want to snipe characters in their passenger seats as the door opens; the collision
will prevent you from doing that. I may have another go at the collision model at some point, or possibly someone who actually knows what they're doing,
can make a good one.
- Occasionally characters will drop support_high (such as fuel rod gun) weapons in their passenger seats and I have no clue why. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
