An overhaul for the English voices in the Reach Campaign. To be more appropriate for an Elite main character (English male voice only):

Noble 6 redubbed by myself to sound like an Elite (with the pitch shift and mild reverb), and rewritten to paraphrase some lines in a way an Elite would say it, rather than a Spartan

Many other characters addressing Noble 6 directly, and alone, as "Spartan" have now had the lines spliced to refer to him as something like "Six", "Noble", "Lieutenant" or just not mention him at all (IE "Spartan, over here!" becomes just "Over here!")

Installation:
First Navigate to the game directory/haloreach/fmod/pc/ and rename english.fsb to english.fsb.bak to back it up in case you wish to uninstall later

Drag the haloreach folder from the archive to the base game directory, confirm any replacements it wants (it shouldnt ask, if you backed up the fsb earlier)

Story:
As acting and rewriting a character is harder to do without knowing backstory and motivations, I decided to write my own:

In the earliest days of the human covenant war, the covenant communicated the forerunner AI, Mendicant Bias, who revealed the truth of humanity being the true inheritors of the forerunner's legacy. The prophets could not reveal this truth to the rest of the covenant, as it would shatter their entire foundation for leadership, so they vowed to eradicate humanity instead, to keep their secret.

Such truths are difficult to keep secret from those especially skeptical, however. Long before the great schism, there was another elite who discovered this truth, and rebelled against the covenant, though this one did so much more quietly. Knowing his word alone would never be taken seriously among the overzealous covenant society, he forsook his old life, and surrendered to the UNSC on harvest to aid in humanity's defense against the coming covenant onslaught.

ONI quickly suppressed any word of this event from spreading, and took this now nameless Sangheili prisoner for interrogation. His true name was never gleaned from the questioning, as he would always insist "My old life was nothing but a lie. Let my name be forgotten with it." It wasnt long, however, before his motivations were brought to light in the ONI interrogation room, and from then, his knowledge of the covenant strategies and technologies helped mitigate many more casualties during the beginning of the war, and paved the way for many reverse engineered covenant technologies, such as the Energy Shielding on Mjolnir armor and Sabre Fighters.

After exhausting his use as a source of intel, ONI sent him to Reach to integrate with the spartan teams there. While most were still unaware of the extent of his contributions to humanity, this slightly more public presence in the UNSC earned him the status of "Local Legend" on Reach. Largely unknown to those who don't live on the planet, but known and accepted by those who do. Pairing him with Noble team, who recently lost their 6th member, was a natural choice

Issues:

There may be a few instances of characters calling noble 6 a spartan, which I might have missed due to them being somewhat obscure or hard to find. None that I know of myself though

Some of the spliced lines have slightly audible jank. I did my best to hide it wherever I could, but theres a limited sampling to pick from for other lines from the same VA that have the same inflections on the right words. This aint skyrim or something with thousands of lines from the same VA in a hundred different locations (and there are surprisingly few instances of ANY character saying the word "Elite")

Some lipsyncing on unhelmeted characters speaking spliced dialogue does not match the words spoken.

Subtitles do not match altered dialogue. I assume this requires altering .map data, and this is already meant to be used with another mod's .map data

While not an issue with THIS mod, several animations in the elites for campaign mod are kind of...mismatched. In a few cutscenes, the character disappears entirely
