Version 1
Initial release
BEHOLD! The Halo 2 Rocket Lock-on ported to Halo 3! This took a bunch of tedious effort, lots of blind trial and error with a little bit of faith as I navigated my way through replicating H2's new hud and weapon rocket launcher tags with H3's chud and weapon rocket launcher tags. A few Halo 3 specific ui differences aside, this is a perfect replication of H2's hold rocket tracking in 3. So I made a tag resource to share with Humanity.
Installation: 1. Download this h2_rocket_track zip and extract it to your H3EK folder, hit yes to replacing the 2 fp rocket jmad tags( all I did was add an extra string so the tracking barrel animates, otherwise completely vanilla.) 2.Now that it's installed, Just add the rocket_launcher_track weapon to the weapon palette in Sapien....and your done. 3. Although if you want ai to use it don't forget to add it to their generic weapon and firing properties(otherwise replace the rocket there or just rename the weapon tag to the vanilla rocket one.)Now just add it to any squad of your choosing or the player starting location loadout and watch as the Covenant Banshees get blown out of the sky. Also feel free to edit the ui or weapons to your liking
