PLEASE READ THIS LINE: This is for the microsoft or gamepass (not steam) version of the mod, if you have MCC on steam then download it here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3097471761
A campaign mod for Halo 3 ODST, Halo New Covenant takes you on a journey after the events of Halo 3 in a new direction.
The campaign includes:
Custom missions designed from scratch
Custom cinematics
Custom voice acting
Full up to 4 player coop support
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Download the zip file from Nexus, unzip it, and place the unzipped folder into a folder you create to store all of your gamepass mods (this folder can be placed anywhere) E.G. "halo_mods" folder on the desktop.
2: Navigate to the file path
3: Inside of 'modmanifest.txt', paste the file path of the 'halo mods' folder you created, save and close the modmanifest file.
4: Launch halo mcc without anti cheat by pressing the windows key and starting to type "mcc anti-cheat disabled" and the option should come right up, MCC will start and you should see Halo New Covenant as an option in the Halo 3 ODST campaigns list.
5: (MCC MUST BE SET TO ENGLISH WITH ENGLISH TEXT TO WORK)... This mod has been balanced for Normal difficulty, play harder difficulty at your own risk.
TIPS: When you finish each mission, back out to mission select and go the next mission from there, it gets around an MCC audio gltiching bug. On the third mission try to follow the marines and not do anything crazy, running ahead or doing weird things can softlock the door at the top. I'm looking into a fix.
