IMPORTANT!!: You MUST choose 22 SEPTEMBER 2020 for the manifest version you download of MCC - Base Depot and MCC - Reach: Campaign Depot!! DO NOT download the version shown in the video or it will not work!
(If you want to play Winter Contingency you can download the 3 March 2020 version of the two depots *however* you'll need to use the v1.0 version of the modded Winter Contingency level, the rest of the levels won't work until you go back to the 20 September 2020 version again)
Once you have downgraded your MCC and Reach files and placed them into your Steam games folder you can download and install the Covenant Campaign mod as normal (details for installing the mod can be found in the mod description).
If you have any questions or run into any problems feel free to leave a comment on the mod page and I'll be happy to help!
Thanks everyone for your patience and special thanks to ITSYABOIPINNYSKINES for posting the information on this!
Huh, didn't think anyone actually noticed my comment, glad to have helped!
@nrayp801 Yes, it's the 22 September 2020 update not the 20th.
Edit: Also, for anyone having problems, the creator of the original video made an extended guide that might clarify some things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkClcO5aJJo
Hi guys! Just updated the description and my post above with a new working tutorial link that is in english so it should help with making the mod playable again!
I downgraded the game to 3 March 2020 as instructed just so I could play Winter Contigency, but when applied the patch to m10, Assembly craps out with a build date error, saying the patch build version is Oct 24 2019. All the other patches for the other maps work fine. It's just the one map I want to play that does this error.
Hi! I played your mod using the downgrade method, it was really fun from beginning to end! I loved playing as the Bad Ass, Sexy Sangheili against the evil humans! :3 It felt more balanced and easier overall due to having the Covenant weaponary against the squishy humans, but that made it all the more enjoyable. The cutscenes were hilarious without the animation and puppet movement indeed xD Great mod, thank you for your time and effort in creating it and thank you sharing the downgrade method so I can play the Elite Campaign and Halo Reach Eternal now! :D
I rolled back to the September update just to play this, solid mod. Really enjoyable so far.
For anyone else who wants to do this:

Thank you so much ITSYABOIPINNYSKINES for sharing this information, it works now!! I've updated the description and my sticky post to highlight this method of downgrading MCC, I owe you one big time!
@GKCinimod: If the batch file crashes when you try to run it you just need to install .NET, I've posted a link in my message for downloading it.

Hey guys.
I've seen a lot of people are wondering what the status of the mod is, so I'll explain the situation here. First I just want to thank all of you who have supported and played my mod, it really means a lot to me that my work has been enjoyed and the time I invested into it didn't go to waste.
Unfortunately as many of you have noticed, the mod is no longer playable due to MCC updates. I've looked through info on the issue with the Halo modding communities and sadly it looks like there's nothing that can be done to fix it. The only option would be to completely remake the mod, but it turns out the next MCC update will just break all mods again that are made on this current version including the Covenant Campaign mod. I was hoping that a conversion tool might have been made that could make the mod compatible with the latest update, but it seems like due to the way 343 have designed their updates, no tool like that is possible.
Modders have told me that the only choice is to wait for modding support to eventually be added officially to MCC, and hopefully then 343 will implement a way for old mods to be recovered and playable on the new versions of MCC. Really sorry to all of you who have loved this mod and want it to work again, I wish I could do more but with work in real life giving me very little free time I just don't have the freedom anymore to invest all the time it takes to remake an overhaul like this again. If it were guaranteed it wouldn't be broken by future updates then I would attempt it but there's sadly no point when it'll just break again in the near future. Really sorry guys.

Hi there. Unfortunately those are just for Combat Evolved so all other Halo games on MCC are still currently unsupported. Hopefully it's a sign that they'll be adding official tools for the others soon, including Reach.
I appreciate your dedication! This mod looks really cool, and it's really unfortunate to see all your work get essentially deleted. If you're interested in reworking it once official reach tools come out, you're truly awesome, to say the least.
Think you will give it another shot after season 8? that is supposedly the last update for mcc? I would love to play this my self and with friends if it works again. but i fully understand if you don't want to try it again.
There once were manny wonderfull campaign mods for reach. this was the best one in my opinion. I hope that there will be some way to save all these wonderfull mods like you said with some sort of recovery. Modding is the greatest thing that halo got in its port to pc and 343 would be foolish not to realise that.
that said i will keep waiting patiently, returning here now and then for news updates or anything. I wish you all the best raven. to you and all modders.
seeing how 343 continues to break every mod makes me sad. who knows if there is a point fixing it now or if it should be fixed ones we can be shure the game gets no more big updates.
dear raven. out of all the wonderfull mods i had the chance to play this one is the one i keep wanting to come back to. so maybe someday 343 will stop ruining this and we all can enjoy this masterpice once again, if you are still interested to bring this back at that point.
I sincerely hope this mod will get an update to fix its maps in the future. It's one of my favourites, despite the rough balancing. Few mods offer the same experience.

Hi everyone!
Got some excitring news, even though MCC updates have broken the mod, there is now a way you can make it fully playable again!
In order to play, you will need to downgrade your version of MCC by following the instructions in this video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t9PpvmhIFyBhiVu4N3ufkMlzhU-N9BwN/view?usp=sharing
