Maethrillian is a Halo Wars 2 overhaul mod featuring unit, hero, and gameplay changes, plus 2 new leaders: the Flood and Major Vaughan. Maethrillian
Maethrillian is an overhaul mod for Halo Wars 2 that makes extensive changes to various aspects of the game, including units, heroes, leader powers, and gameplay elements. The mod introduces two new leaders: the Flood and Major Vaughan, expanding faction options for players. The main goal of the mod is to balance the game while also adding new features such as leader power upgrades in the armory and improved synergy between leader powers.

Economy:
Supply and Power added to most units and upgrades. Diminishing returns have been removed from Supply pads, and the upgrade cost and time for supply pads have been adjusted.
Bases and Tech Levels:
Power cost removed from Firebases/Outposts, making them more viable during the early game. Additionally, a new tech level has been added and base upgrades now have a supply cost. Core air and vehicle units require tech 2, Counter units now require tech 3, Tanks and larger units require tech 4
Veterancy:
Units can no longer gain veterancy normally. Access to Veteran units is still available through leader powers.
Leader Powers:
The main focus was to reduce the cost effectiveness of leader powers. Leader power upgrades have been added in the armory and improved synergy between leader powers promotes more diverse leader power progression.

- Master the battlefield with unique and powerful Leader powers
