Say hello to your Advanced Virtual Assistant, AVA!

AVA is a VoiceAttack profile I have put together as an accessibility tool that adds a bit of immersion as well. By using your voice, preprogrammed macros will be performed to ready a Stratagem for you. Alternatively you can put in the Stratagem codes the old fashioned way and AVA will still make comments and remarks. This is something I have been working on for nearly a year. The voice lines were made by using Charlotte on ElevenLabs.io. I wanted to give AVA a bit of a personality instead of being some robotic repeat-back machine, so she has some sass here and there

I have corresponded with Arrowhead Studios support and VoiceAttack got whitelisted as a result, so no need to worry about anti-cheat or anything affecting you. There are three profiles available, depending on your control style and how you have your buttons setup for Stratagems: WASD, Arrow Keys and using a Gamepad. AVA has two modes: online and offline. If you do not bring AVA online via your voice, when you call for a Stratagem (or do the inputs) a confirmation beep will occur instead. When AVA is online, she talks normally.

AVA has multiple voice lines for everything, set not to repeat should the same command be given more than once. After a Stratagem is successfully inputted (or called for), AVA will say which Stratagem is being prepared. Should you do anything other than throw it, AVA will confirm it's been cancelled. If you do throw it, AVA will state that whatever you called for is coming down

Some additional features:
 - AVA will be disappointed if you cancel a 500kg or Hellbomb call (special voicelines)

 - AVA will chastise you for calling an SOS or manually putting in the code for a Mortar Sentry

 - AVA will NOT do the inputs for the Mortar Sentry if you ask for it. You need to do the code yourself, in which case she will judge you harshly for it (seriously, who uses that Stratagem?)

 - AVA has a one in three chance to make a remark in High Gothic (Warhammer 40k reference) when calling down a Hellbomb or Portable Hellbomb

 - Pelican-1 will play a short sound clip from one of ten songs while dropping off an Exosuit or FRV

 - Pelican-1 will play the opening song from a mecha anime if you ask for it with your voice (Unit 01, Gundam, Kante, or Guren for Neon Genesis Evangelion, Endless Waltz, FLCL, or Code Geass)

YouTube playlist of AVA videos - This contains an introduction to AVA, tutorial on changing things as well as my journey of slowly completing my project

Instructions:
 - Install VoiceAttack from Steam
 - Import the profiles into VoiceAttack
 - Copy the Sounds folder into your steamapps/common/VoiceAttack folder

NOTE: VoiceAttack preloads the Sounds folder upon startup of the program. If you make changes, they won't take effect until you restart VoiceAttack

NOTE+: Cancelling Stratagems for WASD and Arrow Keys does not work properly yet due to VoiceAttack only being able to wait for an input from a single peripheral at a time (Mouse Press, Key Press or Gamepad Press). Since playing Keyboard + Mouse means throwing down the Stratagem with the Mouse but cancelling with the Keyboard, it doesn’t work properly. Hopefully VA support get back to me soon on how to wait for both at the same time
