Original Soundtrack:
Well, armed with some knowledge and experience, I’ve finally managed to tackle what I dare say is one of the greatest soundtracks in gaming history. My previous mod for DMC5 needs fixes and updates—back then, I wasn’t aware of potential issues—but instead, I chose to create a mod for my all-time favorite soundtrack. The music is divided into two modes:
Regular combat
Intense combat
During intense combat, a single sample can play for 50 seconds to 2 minutes (I usually work with 20-40 second clips, so this extended duration is new to me). And yes, intense combat triggers when... well, you’re in intense combat—logical, right? Otherwise, regular combat plays when:
You’re engaged in local skirmishes
Your teammate is in a heated fight, but you’re far away (in this case, the music plays in an incomplete version)
The main action kicks in when you’re battling hordes of those dumb robots. I’ve also added ambient music for when nothing’s happening—just calm background tracks.
Two Versions Available:
Standard – Volume remains unchanged
Loud – Volume is doubled, with some rearranged sections
A note on volume: Everyone’s perception is different—headphones, speakers, even hearing vary. Sadly, I can’t make 10 versions for every ear profile (biological or mechanical). For me, the standard volume is quiet, even with maxed-out settings in Windows and the game itself. So, try the standard version first—if it’s too quiet, grab the loud one.
