JAR-7 "Brimstone-pattern Bolter"
The Brimstone-pattern is a specialized variant of the SEAF-issued JAR-5, featuring a heavier receiver, and flame-resistant titanium frame. It's thermally-enhanced alloy was developed in the Hephaestus Forges, located on New Athens, Helios Sector, Menkent. It's specially designed to resist extreme weather changes without any kind of internal damage or barrel warping. Developed from an unfinished prototype, the Brimstone-pattern represents the next step in Salamanders main service rifle.
It comes in several variants:
"Menkent":
Easily identified by its regular all-green flame-resistant coating. It includes details in 14k gold extracted from Pico Victoria, Menkent's tallest mountain and home of one of the main mines. By carrying the brightest and the dullest minerals available in the planet, a reminder of who are they fighting for.
"Scale":
By carefully adding Menkentish Salamander scales to the external titanium frame, the Brimstone is able to resist even higher temperatures that may melt other lesser firearms.
"Alligatio Imperii":
Coated in a special mineral alloy and blessed by the Ministry of Truth-sanctioned Mechanicus with anointed oils and sacred democratic scents. Made specifically to honor the allies that came to support the Salamanders in their recovery of the relics that where basis of the Brimstone Bolter
