Introduction

Hello everyone. The idea here is to adjust the shape of in-game armors so you can tell between a man or a woman because in vanilla the only armors that have somewhat feminine curves are B-01, Infiltrator, and Trailblazer. We wouldn't be here if Arrowhead's design team did their job but what we were given was a choice between a gym bro on a bulk and a gym bro on a cut. Enjoy this drop of fresh content in the dry sea of AH game updates.

And yes, I know, there are a bunch of "curvy" mods around, but my God, the proportions on them are... How to put it lightly... not very tasteful. And besides, the bigger the choice, the better.

Endorse the mod if you enjoy it!

Installation

Mod Manager (Recommended)

Download the Helldivers 2 Mod Manager and extract the file's contents inside any folder you want. After that, run the Helldivers2ModManager.exe and install the .zip file by clicking "ADD" and choosing the file.

After successfully installing the mod, you can customize which armor sets you want on or off. To do that, hit edit located to the right side of the mod.

There you can check or uncheck the boxes near which armor sets you want or don't want installed.

After selecting your armor sets, hit "OK" and purge your mods before deploying them again to make sure BFA installls correctly. Then, you can play the game and enjoy the mod.

DO NOT TOUCH FILES INSIDE THE .ZIP FILE (You don't need to unpack it, just install the .zip)

Manual (Not Recommended) (Also Outdated)
Drop all files from the archive inside the data folder located in your game's installation folder. If you already have files that have the same name, change the name "9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_0" to "9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_1...2...3...4...etc." in all three files. DO NOT remove .gpu_resources or .stream from the file names. If Windows prompts you if you are sure you want to change the format of the file - click yes.

Compatibility

Any mod that replaces the same armor sets as BFA is not compatible. The game will either crash or the models will look scuffed or have mismatched armor parts. Texture mods should be fine though. And yes the remove capes mod is fine as well.

FAQ

Q: My mod doesn't work!
A: Make sure you installed all three files correctly and check if you do not have conflicting mods installed.

Q: My mod still doesn't work after double-checking the installation!
A: Remove all other patches you have in your data folder and rename the files to patch_0. If it works then your game doesn't like high patch_ numbers or you have a conflicting mod.

Q: There's an XYZ suggestion for the mod I have!
A: Sure, post it in the comments, I'll take a look at it and see if I want to do it and have time to do it.

Q: Can I use this mod in conjunction with other mods that modify the same armor?
A: Yes, but in this situation I cannot guarantee either will work or the game remains stable. Do it at your own risk.

Q: Often does this mod get updated?
A: Depends on Arrowhead. Escalation of Freedom made armor modding much harder due to the community SDK not being able to extract certain armor parts from the game archives. This in turn makes some armors much harder to mod than others.

Q: Will you make an all-in-one installation file?
A: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Q: My game crashes with this mod!
A: You have conflicting mods or the game is being cringe. Run the game without mods once and then install them again, it should fix it. Should...

Q: When's the next update?
A: My free time is more inconsistent than the crypto market so I don't know and won't make any deadlines.

Q: Why does the mod modify other armor sets and their armor parts?
A: Laziness/Optimization. Arrowhead uses a bunch of shared assets across all models. I try to make my edits in a way that won't impact the other armors too much.

Q: Why are some armor parts gone/modified on the male (browny) model?
A: Same answer again - shared assets. I can't do much in that regard.

Q: There's clipping/imperfection/misalignment/etc. on one of the models. Can you fix that?
A: I'll try but that won't be my priority. I try to deliver my models without clipping issues but sometimes the game skeleton throws the wrench in the works.

Q: I still think the shoulders are too broad.
A: I agree with you, but both male and female models share the same "skeleton" which I cannot edit at this current moment.

Q: What is a skeleton?
A: A base structure to which parts of the model are connected via weight paint so they can move in the in-game world and play animations correctly.

Q: What are the chances of you abandoning this project?
A: Like 50/50. I do it out of my own volition & for free so as soon as I lose my motivation I'll put the project on hold.
