About this mod
Recolors thestrals and/or hippogriffs. Will affect wild creatures. Thestral only comes in white, custom texture. Hippogriff options are brown, bald eagle, black, and gold. also includes eye textures that can be used with any of the retextures.

Just purchased a steam key for the pre-order onyx hippogriff, my next update will be recolors that only affect the onyx hippogriff caligo. This will prevent it from affecting wild hippogriffs for anyone who has caligo.
I purchased my key for caligo on G2A.com for $4.01 incase anybody else is interested in how to get him after they already bought the game without pre-ordering
Please keep in mind that I am a humble gamer. I don't mod all that much, basically did this because I got mad when I found out you couldn't ride the captured thestrals and hippogriffs. I wanted a white thestral but I didn't like the only retexture on nexus so I made one. Threw in Highwing because it was easier than I anticipated once everything was set up.
install with vortex, or extract to ~mods folder
would love to hear some suggestions for different griff/thestral colors I'm starting to get used to gimp
3.0 IS HERE! I have added Bald Eagle style (merica), full brown style, and improved black style hippogriffs, along with new eye colors for both hippogriff and thestral.
In addition I have done away with modular hippogriff files for the following reasons;
1. It will speed up the process of creating the mod
2. Mixing and matching does not look as good as I had hoped
3. It will reduce the possibility of conflicts with other mods
4. Will reduce clutter on file page
So each hippogriff recolor only has 1 file each. Eye colors remain separate.
