This is my pesonal ReShade preset. All games come out with light yellow tint to them that completely throws the atmosphere out of wack, this was the case for Hogwarts Legacy as well. I wanted the game to feel darker and more mysterious, like walking into one of the movies. In vanilla I could barely tell the difference between night and day and as I explored the world, I realized I had no use for Lumos. It was pointless, the game was way too bright. Even in the darkest dungeons.
I've rectified these issues. This preset will not only darken interior and exterior lighting, making Lumos a more prominent spell. It will also enhance the graphics and visuals adding more depth and realism to the game. You'll be shocked by the difference it'll make in game. Granting a more immersive playthrough.
Of course, the darkness can be altered by editing the exposure in ReShade to fit your personal taste with no effect on graphics!
(I've provided 3 versions) DARK: Very Dark, this is how I personally like the game. It makes nights and dark places feel ominous and eerie and light places feel warm and cozy. (You will need Lumos!) Medium: Slightly Dark, still affects dark places but I find that Lumos is less needed. Still nice though if you find the dark version too...dark. Light: Vanilla Lighting, this changes only cinematic effects and coloring. No changes to how dark the game will appear.
