I currently consider this mod to be a "beta" version. Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Introduction

This mod is intended for those who have completed the game but missed a few items. Rather than replay the game from scratch you can just add the missing items to your inventory. See the Images tab for lists of the items that you can add.

You can add up to nine items at a time. They will be added as soon as you start playing. If you then save that game those items will be baked into that save file. You can then add another nine items if you like, by repeating the process.

Please note that you cannot add gear to your inventory using this mod. Gear is handled very differently by the game.

Installation

I would recommend installing the mod manually as described below. You should be able to install the mod automatically using Vortex if you like (then skip to step 4 below), but Vortex can be a bit unreliable with Hogwarts Legacy mods (it doesn't always delete mods properly) so beware!

  • Download the mod.
  • Unzip the contents.
  • Move the .utoc.ucas, and .pak files to the Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\ folder.
  • Install Blueprint Apparate Modloader if you haven't already.
  • Start Hogwarts Legacy
  • Load your most recent save-file.
  • Press the F8 key to activate Blueprint Apparate Modloader.
  • Type AddToInventory in the little window and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
  • The word AddToInventory should disappear and reappear lower down in that window with an X next to it. If it doesn't - if it stays on the top line - then either a) you put the .utoc, .ucas and .pak files in the wrong folder, or b) one of your existing mods is already using pakchunk 1053. Use my PakChunk Checker to check that. If you have a pakchunk conflict see the Conflicts section below.
  • Press F8 again to close the modloader window.
Note that you only need to follow the above process once. From now on the mod will just work.

Key Bindings

There are no key-bindings. The mod will automatically add the items that you list in the Engine.ini file.

How to Specify which Items to Unlock

Add the following to your C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini file, then edit each InventoryItem as you see fit. You can specify up to nine items in total. I have entered a couple of examples: Quest_SNC_01_01_BathtubNote (the "Bathtub Note") and BroomFamilyAntique (the "Family Antique Broom"). See the full list of available item names on the Images tab. If you ever want to disable the mod, change Unlock=True to Unlock=False, but note that if you save your game after adding an item to your inventory, that item will still be in your inventory when you load that save file, even if you've disabled this mod.

[/Game/CustomContent/AddToInventoryConfig.AddToInventoryConfig_C]
Unlock=True
InventoryItem1=Quest_SNC_01_01_BathtubNote
InventoryItem2=BroomFamilyAntique
InventoryItem3=
InventoryItem4=
InventoryItem5=
InventoryItem6=
InventoryItem7=
InventoryItem8=
InventoryItem9=

How to Un-Install

Either:

1) If you installed it via Vortex: Disable or Uninstall it via Vortex. BUT also CHECK that it's gone from the ~mods folder afterwards.
2) Delete the .utoc.ucas, and .pak files from the ~mods folder.

Conflicts

This mod uses pakchunk 1053. You can check if that conflicts with any of your existing mods by running my PakChunk Checker batch script after you've installed this mod. If it does conflict, you can fix it using the Chunk ID Conflict Manager.
