A few key changes:
- Adept weapons and outfits available in all difficulty modes
- Quests now reward the player with modification boxes (errands - green mod boxes; most side and main quests - purple mod boxes)
- Machine health, damage, weaknesses, and resistances are now the same as their Forbidden West counterparts
- New ammo type: Explosive Precision Arrows
- Spear modification slots unlocked from the start
- And many more!

What makes this mod more "challenging"?
Like Forbidden West, this mod focuses on greater strategic gameplay by changing how loot and weapons/outfits are acquired:
- "Key resources" must now be obtained from machines in order to trade for weapons and armor. Some of these must be torn off (e.g. Thunderjaw tails), while others must be left on the machine without destroying them (such as Snapmaw sacs).
- Components removed with Tear damage will grant additional loot - for example, a single Chillwater canister torn off from a Stormbird will give 5 Chillwater. The bigger the machine, the more loot its components will give.
- Some components will be "destroyed" if not removed before killing a machine, while others will "persist" on the body for looting. The Machine Catalogue has been updated to help you identify them.

Some Quality of Life Changes:
- Unlimited inventory space
- No pick-up animations
- All weaves and coils drop with three modifications
- Faster Concentration regeneration
- Faster Shieldweaver regeneration
- Tinker skill automatically given if the player obtains the "Concentration" skill
- Extra health from health boost potions no longer decays and gives 338 health
- Rattlers have greatly increased range, accuracy, and can detonate elemental canisters
- Adept Rattler's firing mode is now similar to the "Sustained Burst" technique from Forbidden West
- Greatly increased War Bow accuracy
- Faster "overdraw" with the Banuk weapons
- "Call Mount+" perk automatically received after obtaining PSI overrides
- Increased sliding distance on downhill slopes
- Left-aligned camera and removed vignette (optional)
- Includes all my other mods: "Merchants Sell Animal Parts", "Enhanced Outfits", "Focus Highlight Time Extended", "No Cutscene Vignette", "No Heavy Breathing"
- And many others
Installation Instructions:
Extract, then drag and drop the provided BIN files into your Packed_DX12 folder, usually found in YourDrive:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Horizon Zero Dawn\Packed_DX12.
Compatibility:
Due to how many game files this mod changes, it is HIGHLY likely there will be mod conflicts/overrides if you have other mods installed. My suggestion is to use only these files for a smooth gameplay experience. If you still want to use other mods, I recommend using only those that don't majorly change gameplay aspects or require prefetch files. For this reason I've tried to include as many QOL changes as I can.
