Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial version
These are all the up to date base textures for all customizable characters. You can load these up in an image editing tool and make changes to them to create mods.
Brief how to: (visual version included in the downloaded .zip)
1. Open the desired character skin texture in an image editing program (e.g. photoshop)
2. Make changes to the skin texture (for example add a tattoo)
2.1 If you want your mod to work with the override base skin color feature in the customizer you must also apply your changes on the black and white version of the texture contained in the alpha channel of the texture. If you don’t care skip this step.
3. Save your texture as a .tga (32 bit if asked) for the best results (other formats like .png will work, but might not correctly keep the alpha channel that we talked about in 2.1) THE FILE NAME MUST STAY THE SAME!!! (Also see note at bottom) Some programs (e.g. Photopea) don’t save .tga correctly. In that case use .png
4. Place your newly modded skin texture file in the folder matching your character name Located in Documents\Eek\House Party\Mods\Textures\Characters
5. Load up the game and check out your customization!
!!NOTE!!: For skin textures to also be compatible with the censored version of the game you must duplicate your file and name it T_Ashley_A.tga (or .png whatever format you use) TUC named versions of the textures are only loaded in the uncensored version.
