Why this Mod Exists:
I played the whole game as a female character and wanted to romance SilkFox, only to get blocked by Sky at the very end. Annoyed AF I spent the weekend learning how to change the romance as needed.
What this Mod Does:
These files will force a romance change in Jade Empire based on the dialogue right after the autosave that happens once you leave the Spirit Plain. The exact dialogue that changes the Global Variable romance is:
"Seek your fellows. They know about your awakening and are on their way to the shelter of Dirge. Hurry, others will find you soon enough."
This will force any romance you want even if that romance is not available for that gender, but I haven't gone through and updated the dialogue (unless anyone is looking for it). For example a female player can have a Dawnstar & Silkfox romance but Silkfox will still call you a man in that interaction.
How to Install and Run:
To install this mod, simply copy the files within the character folder you want to romance and paste it into Jade Empires installed directory in a folder inside called "override".
Then load up the recent autosave before you find out about the end romance, this is the part right after you leave the Spirit Plain and are attacked by demons that followed you through. The dialogue at that point will inject the new variables to change the romance. Image of the exact part it runs it below. After this just see your party as normal, go through dialogue and you should be set.
