I recently downloaded Jade Empire during Origin's "On the House" special as I wanted to replay this underappreciated game. I had originally been looking for a mod to replace the UI with the 360's icons, and instead stumbled upon some model swap mods. After perusing a couple of sites/Google Search, I was surprised/disappointed to find that no one had made a Death's Hand model swap for the player character. I then took it upon myself to quickly use a modding tutorial for model swapping http://jadeempire-modding.wikia.com/wiki/Play_as_an_NPC to see if I could accomplish this.
This mod will allow you to swap Furious Ming's player model with that of Death's Hand complete with sounds. I may in the future also include his weapon style, but for now I figured I'd upload this for anyone else looking to play as Death's Hand.
The model swap seems to work fine in-game/dialog/cutscenes/character windows, but I have not done a full playthrough with it yet and cannot verify it to work 100%.
