Pelecanimimus - Question

Hypothetically, if someone would make a Pelecanimimus mod into the game, would the modders be able to make it a fish-eater?
And is it possible, for example, to make an omnivorous creature in the game (meat/plant eater or even fish/plant eater).
I'm just asking for curiosity, I know that the "add new species" mods are very recent and not everything has been figured out yet. I know next to nothing about coding or any other necessary tools for modding, so this question actually peaked my interest.

    Theoretically, it could be, as models have been re-rigged to have new animations before and to eat from a different feeder than their original rig. I'm not a modder, but I can say that if it IS possible, it's going to be one hell of a challenge

      the only problem is that pelicanamimus would be based off of an ornithomimid, which is way smaller than the fish eaters we have in the game. we could bring the animations/rigs over, but it just wouldn't line up with the model.

    i feel that the biggest problem would be how the plant/ meat feeder-eating animations line up with a fish feeder. we can't make new rigs/animation yet, so it would basically look like plants are appearing out of nowhere above the fish feeder.

    probably won't work. Why? Yes, perhaps it can be done so that the creature eats both vegetation and fish, but.. how often do you eat fish from the bushes?
    Stand still... look at the bush.. and you catch fish out of it...
    because spinosaurids just have an animation of how they catch fish.

    you can't make omnivores sadly, you can only pick one feeder

    Yeah I think that should be do-able it would most likely look very weird and out of place though.  but I say hypothetically you probably could do this. Maybe, I'm not really sure. I'm not a modder but I am going to try making a new dino, If i manage to get far enough into development next weekend I'll be able to answer your question, if I  ever actually manage to make the mod that is.

    Possibly, because they were able to make the Dimetrodon a meat eater, but then again the Deinosuchus only ate meat instead of fish, It could've just been that the Ankylosaur rig wasn't made for eating fish but I don't know, I'm not a modder.

      yeah, I noticed that too. When the Deinosuchus "add" mod was briefly taken down, I thought that OP was just correcting it and make it being able to eat fish too.
