So, we have tree fossils in the game, right? And they are basically useless, right?
Well, why not make them actually useful?

So my idea is, that you will dig up a tree fossil, you extract the genome and, wazzah! You now unlocked a Prehistoric Tree in the scenery tab that you can use to your heart's content.
Wouldn't that be nice?





I don't even know if this is possible.

    There is a mod made by luchadragon125 that change all the escenary trees except the second i guess? i cant remember. but it reworks the majority of them, and to me they look pretty decent for a paleo environment, actually if you combined them with the isla sorna props made by DANNYB0B which has the ground ferns and in addition to that you get the environment rework also made by DANNYB0B using the dirt texture you can make a superb and ancient looking enclosure! 

    P.D: the idea is great! i think is brilliant, BUT idk if this is possible right now sadly.
