About this image
Not to be confused with Velociraptor, the Velocisaurus is a tiny Theropod from the Noasauridae Family, known to have members such as Masiakasaurus and Elaphrosaurus. Velocisaurus is named after the unique cursorial lifestyle it likely had, based on the Metatarsal leg remains that were discovered by Oscar de Ferrariis and Zulma Brandoni de Gasparini in the 80s.
