Because I've seen a lot of posts and bug reports on New Species mods that the game crashes when you go in the hatchery or release a dinosaur, I thought about making a quick post about it, to give modders less headaches.
First of all, the fault is on your side, not the creator's side.
There are 3 causes of why the game could crash when going in the hatchery or releasing a dinosaur, so if you encounter the problem, check these things:
1. Wrong folder installed
the first thing I'd check is if you have installed the right folder. The New Species folder always should have at least 3 folders, 2 ovls and an xml file.
The folder with these things is the one you have to put in ovldata. However, if it's still crashing then you probably have one of the next causes. If not, check the description of the mod, or if there is one, the readme.txt inside the mod.
2. ACSE
If you want to have New Species you need ACSE. For that go here (https://www.nexusmods.com/jurassicworldevolution2/mods/262) and download it. Then just paste in the "ACSE" folder, and you should be good to go.
3. Outdated ACSE
If you are 100% sure you did everything right, redownload your ACSE, because it might be outdated.
So yeah, for people new in the JWE2 Modding Community, here is what you need to check. First I found the reports funny, but I've already seen it so often by now, that I felt like posting this, so less people encounter this problem and modders don't have to bother with bug reports, which isn't their fault.

I tried to fix it by replacing the modded files with the old original files (and ive checked and they are the exact same as before i ever changed any files) but they still crash upon release.
